    Miscellaneous < Back LINA BO BARDI BOWL CHAIR, 1951 Designer: Lina Bo Bardi (Italy, 1914 - Brazil, 1992) 1951 Metal, jute lining, fabric, foam Seat H 37 cm x D 86 cm; base H 32 cm x D 65 cm Note: seat frame damaged for use. The fabric is not from the period. Bardi's Bowl was designed by Lina Bo Bardi in 1951 as part of the furniture in her Glass House residence. In 1953 it began to be produced by Ambiente and has since been published in various foreign magazines specializing in architecture and design. Subsequently, Bardi's Bowl was published in 1985 by Núcleo 8 and in 2013 by Arper. However, these two editions differ in design from the Bardi's Bowl in question. Another 1951 Lina Bo Bardi's Bowl Chair is part of the collection of New York's MoMA museum. Collection: Auga Raridades Eireli

    Contemporary Art < Back POLLYANNA FREIRE Brazil, 1982 Pollyanna Freire nasceu em 1982 em São Paulo, Brasil. Vive e trabalha desde de 2010 em Portugal. Os seus trabalhos mais recentes foram exibidos no MAAT - Museu da Artes, Arquitetura e Tecnologia, em Lisboa, na exposição individual Vão (18/01 – 30/04/2023). Em 2017, realizou sua primeira exposição individual Escultura, seguindo-se Cavalo Verde em 2020, ambas no Módulo – Centro Difusor de Arte, Lisboa. Das exposições coletivas que integrou, destacam-se: Não sei se posso desejar-lhe um feliz ano, no MNAC – Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea, Lisboa, 2022; Play is a serious matter, Museu das Comunicações / Fundação Portuguesa das Comunicações, Lisboa, 2019; O pouco ou muito a diferença é pouca, Módulo – Centro Difusor de Arte, 2014. Em 2012, participou na exposição Me, Myself and I, o IV Certamen de Dibujo Contemporáneo Pilar y Andrés Centenera Jaraba, Fundación Centenera, em Madrid, onde recebeu uma menção honrosa. Em 2017, foi convidada para integrar a 8.ª edição da exposição Artemar, em Cascais, comissariada por Luísa Soares de Oliveira. Foi selecionada, em 2015, para o Prémio Novos Artistas Fundação EDP. As suas obras integram várias coleções, entre as quais a Coleção SCAN, Londres, MG - Alvito, Quartel - Galeria Municipal de Arte de Abrantes, Fundação Portuguesa das Comunicações, Coleção Fernando Figueiredo Ribeiro, entre outras. The only table with a double signature on the top (all the other ZC-certified tables have one signature printed on the top and another on the bottom). Circular intervention, visible table lamp mark. The table had interventions on the legs when ZC started using a wheelchair. This table featured in the last exhibition of ZC's work in Brasilia (while ZC was still alive).
